Dr. Sara McGregor-Okroi is a public health educator and certified instructor based in Sisseton, South Dakota.
Sara holds a PhD in Public Health (Health Advocacy and Leadership) and has spent more than 15 years leading trainings and workshops on mental health, suicide prevention, and substance use for middle/high school students, community members, retailers, and law enforcement across northeast South Dakota.
Since 2011 she has served as Executive Director of Aliive-Roberts County in Sisseton. Her work focuses on rural communities and on youth, with practical, evidence-based training that helps people recognize distress and respond with empathy.
Glacial Lakes Wellness Training serves schools, churches, employers, ag co-ops, first responders, county offices and alcohol license holders across the Glacial Lakes region of northeast South Dakota.
